SINGLES BABY BOOMERS

In 2010, Singles Baby Boomers (SBB) was founded as a club in The Villages Recreation Department’s Resident Lifestyle Program.

We started with 85 members at the first official meeting. The club has grown steadily. In 2023, we are now over 1,100+ members.

Our membership increases as “single boomers” move here or embrace a lifestyle change in one of the largest retirement communities.

SBB is run solely by dedicated volunteers. They coordinate and host a variety of activities for our members. The list includes golf, pickleball, bowling, samba, hiking, trivia, Mexican Train, Mah Jongg, Tuesday Night Dinner, Small Group Dining, Out to Lunch, Party Time and many more.

Members meet for a social the first Thursday of the month at Seabreeze Recreation Center. The social is an evening of live entertainment, dinner or games. Most importantly, members have a good time with others in the club.

All resident, single baby boomers (born during years 1946-1964) can apply for membership on the New Member page. Note: New Membership Applications are only available online February 1st through October 31st.

The Villages will continue to increase in population. And so will Singles Baby Boomers. We will add members, activities and most of all….. continue the friendship and fun.
